Every dog and every owner comes to training with different needs. Whether you’re raising a puppy, struggling with difficult walks, dealing with barking or lunging at dogs and people, looking for greater off-leash reliability and communication, or simply wanting a better relationship with your dog, I’ll help you choose a training program based on what you’re experiencing and what you want life with your dog to look like.

I offer private lessons, board and train, virtual lessons, and select additional training options, with programs ranging from foundational obedience and puppy training to more complex behavioral work. The goal isn’t simply a dog who performs commands — it’s meaningful, lasting improvement that carries over into everyday life.

Training for my Los Angeles and westside dog people

PRIVATE LESSONS

Child walking a dog while two adults follow on a suburban street.

Private lessons give us the opportunity to work one-on-one with you and your dog on the things that matter most in your everyday life. That might mean puppy basics, better manners around the house, difficult walks, barking or lunging at dogs and people, stronger obedience, or building the communication and reliability needed for greater off-leash reliability.

Lessons may take place at your home, in your neighborhood, at a local park, or in another appropriate setting depending on what we’re working on.

But these lessons aren’t just about what I can get your dog to do. They’re about teaching you how to get the same results.

We’ll work together so you understand how to read your dog, communicate clearly, reinforce the behaviors you want, and address unwanted behaviors when they happen. My goal is for you to leave with practical skills you can actually use when I’m not standing next to you.

Private lessons are a great fit if you want:

● Help with specific behaviors you’re struggling with at home or out in the real world

● Hands-on coaching rather than having someone else do all of the training for you

● A better understanding of why your dog is behaving the way they are and how to respond

● Stronger communication, obedience, and reliability that you can continue building on between lessons

Single Lesson — $250

Three-Lesson Package — $650

BOARD AND TRAIN

Two dogs sitting at a doorway inside a house.

Your dog doesn’t just come to me for a few training sessions each day — they live with me in my home, where training becomes part of everyday life.

While we have dedicated time for working on specific skills, I don’t measure training simply by a certain number of sessions or hours each day. Every interaction is deliberate — from walks, feeding, and moving through doorways to settling in the house, spending time in the crate, and navigating distractions. We’re not just practicing training — we’re practicing real life and building better habits throughout the day.

Throughout their stay, we’ll work on obedience, behavior, communication, and the specific challenges that brought them to training. Depending on your dog’s needs and the length of their stay, that can mean everything from establishing solid on-leash obedience and better manners to addressing reactivity and other behavioral challenges or developing the communication and reliability needed for greater off-leash reliability.

Just as importantly, the training doesn’t end when your dog comes home.

Every Board & Train includes private follow-up lessons so I can teach you how to communicate with your dog, maintain what they’ve learned, and help those new behaviors carry over into your everyday life together. Your dog has spent their stay learning a new way of doing things; I’ll make sure you understand that language too.

Follow-Up Support

2+ weeks: 1 hour of private lessons upon return

4+ weeks: 2 hours of private lessons, completed within 3 months of your dog’s return

6+ weeks: 3 hours of private lessons, completed within 3 months of your dog’s return

Board & Train may be a great fit if you want:

● An immersive training environment with consistent expectations throughout the day

● More intensive help with behaviors that have been difficult to change on your own

● Obedience and behavior modification worked on together rather than treated as separate issues

● Greater reliability around real-world distractions

● A clear path toward off-leash communication and reliability when appropriate for your dog

● Hands-on support when your dog returns home so you’re prepared to maintain and continue their progress

Program Options

2 Weeks — $2,800

Two weeks gives us enough time to introduce new behaviors, establish basic communication, and begin building a foundation. It is only the beginning, though: when training thoughtfully and patiently, two weeks is not enough time for newly learned behaviors to become well-practiced habits or develop the level of reliability many owners ultimately want.

4 Weeks — $5,600

Four weeks gives us more time to move beyond teaching the basics and practice skills consistently in different environments, around distractions, and as part of everyday life. It is also the starting point for Beyond the Leash, where we begin developing reliable communication at a distance and greater off-leash reliability through remote collar training. Training equipment is included.

6 Weeks — Starting at $7,700

Recommended for dogs and goals that benefit from additional time, including more significant behavioral challenges and situations where greater consistency, practice, communication, and reliability are needed.

Individualized pricing for extended training: Pricing beyond four weeks is based on your dog’s individual training and behavioral needs.

VIRTUAL LESSONS

A fluffy dog sitting beside a person working on a laptop outdoors.

You don’t have to be in Los Angeles to work with me. Virtual Lessons offer live, one-on-one coaching for owners who want professional guidance while doing the hands-on training themselves.

Through video, I can watch you and your dog in real time, help identify what’s happening, and coach you through how to respond. Virtual Lessons can work well for many dogs and milder behavior concerns, troubleshooting specific problems, or getting additional support with training you’ve already started.

You’ll be doing the training, but you won’t be figuring it out alone. My goal is to help you better understand what you’re seeing from your dog, communicate more clearly, and leave with practical steps you can continue working on after our call.

DAY TRAINING-Limited Availability

Four dogs relaxing among pumpkins at a pumpkin patch.

Day Training is an option for owners who want more intensive professional training than private lessons while still having their dog home with them each night.

Dogs are dropped off with me for a minimum of four hours, giving us dedicated time to work on obedience, behavior, communication, and your dog’s individual training goals. Depending on what we’re working on, Day Training may be recommended anywhere from once a week to three days per week, with more consistent training needed for dogs working through behavioral challenges or completing a more comprehensive program.

Day Training is not currently being offered and is generally available only on a very limited basis. If you’re interested, you’re welcome to reach out so we can discuss your dog’s needs and whether future availability may be a fit.

Starting at $200 per session

Training Beyond the program

Play and Train

Play & Train is a small, carefully selected group experience for dogs who have established reliable off-leash communication through Beyond the Leash training with me. It gives dogs the opportunity to exercise, engage in appropriate social play, and practice their training around the kind of real-world distractions that can be difficult to recreate at home.

The goal isn’t simply to let dogs play. We’re continuing to reinforce good decision-making, responsiveness, appropriate play styles, and the ability to listen and communicate even when something much more exciting is happening around them.

It’s a fun way for graduates to keep using what they’ve learned while continuing to build reliability and confidence in the real world.

$100 per session

Prefer To Meet In Person?

If you’d like me to meet you and your dog in person, we’ll schedule a Private Lesson. Lessons may take place at your home, in your neighborhood, at a local park, or in another appropriate setting depending on what we’re working on.

For new clients, part of our first lesson is spent getting to know your dog, discussing what you’ve been experiencing, and evaluating what I see. But we won’t stop there — we’ll also begin working together so you leave with a better understanding of your dog and practical guidance you can start using right away.

Private Lesson — $250
